Outfitter's conditions · English translation
The participating hunter declares that they take part in the activity at their own responsibility and undertake to comply with current hunting, safety and firearms legislation. The hunter undertakes to follow the hunting guide’s instructions at all times and to shoot only the animals indicated by the guide. In all cases, final responsibility for the shot and any wrongful taking of an animal rests exclusively with the hunter, who will bear any resulting financial or administrative consequences. The hunter must hold and carry the following valid documents during the hunt: • The appropriate firearms licence and the firearm’s registration document (guía de pertenencia). • A Castilla-La Mancha hunting licence. • Compulsory hunter’s insurance. The hunter’s insurance will be responsible for covering any incident or accident affecting the hunter, including medical assistance or rescue costs in the natural environment, if required. For safety reasons: • The hunter must carry the firearm with an empty chamber while moving between locations. • The firearm may only be loaded and prepared to fire when the guide expressly instructs this. Failure to observe basic safety rules may result in the immediate suspension of the activity. Each hunting day costs: 150€ If an animal is wounded and blood is found at the shot site, the hunter must pay 50 % of the value of the animal concerned. If the animal is not recovered during the day, tracking will continue. If the trophy is located or recovered on subsequent days, the hunter must pay the remaining 50 % of the animal’s value. Taxidermy, preparation, transport and shipping of the trophy are the hunter’s responsibility and at their expense. An external taxidermy service can be arranged. The hunter acknowledges that hunting involves inherent risks arising from the natural environment, the use of firearms and movement over uneven terrain. Accordingly, the hunter participates voluntarily and releases the hunting guide and outfitter from liability for damage or accidents arising from the activity’s inherent risks, except in cases of demonstrable gross negligence.
