What changes the price of a hunt?
A Spanish ibex stalking offer and a montería stand are different services. Even within one species, the advertised category, destination, duration, guiding and services can change the price. Compare equivalent offers instead of treating the lowest headline price as the cost of a complete trip.
- Species, hunting method and the animal category or quota agreed in writing.
- The particular estate, dates and contracted duration.
- Guiding, internal transport and any services explicitly included.
- Accommodation, meals, companions, interpretation and other optional extras.
- Trophy preparation, storage and transport, if requested.
For ibex, compare Gredos and Beceite against the actual listings, not an assumed national tariff. For montería hunts, confirm whether the price is for a stand, animal category or package.
How the Rececho.es booking payment works
The standard booking payment is 9% of the hunting price, excluding extras. This amount pays for Rececho.es’s booking service and is included in the hunting price, not added on top. The remaining hunting balance is paid to the organiser under the agreed conditions. The platform service amount includes VAT.
Extras entered by the organiser are recorded in the hunter–organiser agreement. They are not part of the amount collected by Rececho.es and do not increase the base used for the 9% calculation. Check the final breakdown and the organiser’s payment arrangements before accepting.
An illustrative calculation — not an advertised hunt
| Part of the booking | Amount |
|---|---|
| Hunting price, including the booking service | €1,000 |
| Standard payment to Rececho.es · 9% | €90 |
| Remaining hunting balance to the organiser | €910 |
| Extras agreed with the organiser | €150 |
| Total budget in this example | €1,150 |
If the one-time 5% benefit applies, the discount is €50 on this hunting price. It reduces the Rececho.es payment from €90 to €40; the organiser’s €910 balance and €150 extras remain unchanged. The example total becomes €1,100. Eligibility and redemption conditions apply; this discount is not renewed by deactivating and reactivating benefits.

- What exactly defines the animal category, stand or package at this price?
- What is included, and which charges could be added only with my agreement?
- Are permits, guiding, transfers and preparation included or separate?
- When and how is the remaining balance paid to the organiser?
- What happens if the date changes, the organiser cancels or I need to make a complaint?
A hunting booking does not guarantee a sighting or harvest. Read the written service description and accepted terms, rather than assuming a successful outcome is part of the price. For international travel costs and documents, use Planning a Hunting Trip to Spain.
