Montería driven hunts: clear information and conditions
A montería can produce excellent results or turn out to be a day without a shooting opportunity. Before booking, check the conditions, quotas, guarantees and previous experiences on the estate. Look at our guarantee seal and the outfitter’s rating.

A traditional hunting method
The montería offers a unique experience. Hundreds of dogs work through the hunting area, while hunters take up positions in lines around the estate and game enters the shooting lanes. From the Middle Ages to the present day, montería hunting has been part of Spain’s heritage.
Logistics for the day
Confirm the meeting point, briefing language, stand allocation, access and transport. Check whether a companion is permitted and included in the price. Tell the outfitter about any mobility requirements and follow the organiser’s safety briefing and coordination instructions throughout the day.
Book with realistic expectations
Read the written conditions for weather changes, postponement, cancellation and complaints before paying. You are booking the agreed opportunity to participate, not a guaranteed hunting result. Ask the outfitter any unanswered questions and keep the booking document and accepted conditions.
YOUR FIRST MONTERÍA
From meeting point to written booking
- Understand the format
Check the stand or package, permitted species, quota and briefing language.
- Confirm the day
Ask about meeting times, access, transport, meals and arrangements for companions.
- Read before reserving
Review the price breakdown and conditions. A coordinated hunt does not guarantee a sighting or harvest.
