PLAN YOUR HUNT

Female Barbary sheep: an attractive trophy at an accessible price

Stalking female Barbary sheep offers a good balance of quality and price. Females have sizeable trophies compared with those of other species. At a very affordable price, you can enjoy an authentic mountain stalk and take an attractive trophy.

Be specific about what you want

Check that the offer expressly states the sex and species. Ask how animals are selected and what the destination’s authorisation permits. A male or trophy offer is not automatically a substitute for a female hunt.

Quantities and hunting days

The number of animals and the number of days are separate choices. Check the breakdown and services charged per day, hunter or booking. If you want to attend with someone else, ask about capacity and conditions before confirming.

Female Barbary sheep and a suitable calibre

Although this is mountain hunting with shots at distances of hundreds of metres, females are as resilient as males. Look for a calibre with a suitable balance of bullet weight and velocity.
